Climate Change

This webquest was designed for the grade 10 curriculum, it fits well into Unit D: Energy Flow in Energy Systems. However, it may be incorporated in other grade levels and units where you see fit. Click on this link to see the connections to the Grade 10 Program of Studies.

 

The goal of this assignment was not meant for students to find absolute solutions to the problem of climate change, but instead for students to gain insight and understanding to the problems on our earth caused by climate change. Students will use the internet to assist them in searching for articles to provide support for their argument. This activity requires collaboration and teamwork, this is such an enormous and open-ended topic with many possible directions for students to go in. Encourage students to be creative, they may use sources that were not listed in the background information tab to come up with climate change impacts.
